He has written a self-published comic series, "Segovia Solutions", which grabbed the attention of GMA News.
He graduated cum laude from the University of the Philippines-Diliman and received the GMA President's Medal for Outstanding Journalism Student and Philippine Daily Inquirer Certificate of Excellence in 2007.
He then wore different hats in television on and off cam. He was part of the production teams that won "Best Newscast" for Balitanghali in 2008 MTRCB Awards ("Bagyong Frank") and a finalist certificate from the 2008 New York Festivals under the "Breaking News" category for News on Q's "Batasan Blast" coverage.
